Superintendent Search Survey and Focus Groups

SurveyThe East Prairie School District 73 Board of Education welcomed input from all stakeholders to help inform the selection of an incoming superintendent. Feedback was sought via focus groups and an online survey on the District’s strengths and challenges, as well as skills and characteristics desired for the next superintendent, to provide the Board with data used to help screen and interview the finalists. Letters and emails were also welcomed. Additionally, the Board’s partner in the superintendent search process, BWP and Associates, conducted meetings with PTO Presidents, community members on Board committees, and groups of representative teachers, support staff, and administrators. During BWP's update on the search process at the Board Business meeting on January 16, 2018, they shared the survey results and the leadership profile they created based on themes heard via community input:

The Board of Education is planning to announce its selection for the new leader of East Prairie in the coming weeks.
