GOALS/STANDARDS and BENCHMARKS:

ISBE Math Goals

7.B.3:Use instruments to measure to the degree of accuracy required.

*Students will find the dimensions in inches of given objects using a ruler.

7.C.3a:Construct a simple scale drawing for a given situation.

*Students will construct hand drawings of given objects using their dimensions, rulers and compasses.

*Students will construct CAD drawings of given objects using their dimensions and Autosketch.

OTHER OBJECTIVES:

EPS Goals

Technology Goal 1:Understand the use of hardware and software in order to effectively use technology in the learning environment.

EPSTS2:Know and use technical Vocabulary
